In the past few years, WYSIWYG HTML Editors have become prominent. They allow anybody and everybody to create a web page or website. But that is all they're really good for. The WYSIWYG web authoring systems remove the complications but at the same time, make it virtually impossible to create neat, and quick loading pages. HyperHTML has been developed to make HTML as easy as possible without removing your connection with the code. HyperHTML doesn't do anything behind your back... It doesn't mess up your code and insert a hundred bold tags when one would be necessary. No matter how smart computers get, as a web author you want absolute control over every character in your document.
